about

our group

The established Worcestershire Area realized the potential for such a younger group locally and our group was formed in the Autumn of 2003.

The group is open to young people aged 20-40 living in and round the Worcestershire area. Membership current stands at around 60 (Jan 2007), and is growing all the time.

Since then we have gone from strength to strength. Our events programme has now a varied and active programme of around an event per week whether this is a social evening, meal out or a 12 mile energetic trek across the Malverns. The summer season sees us have more away days and weekends away as the days lengthen and the weather improves.

20's and 30's groups

Kevin Matthews founded the first 20's & 30's group for the Ramblers Association for the Nottingham and Derby area. Through its success the Ramblers decided to encourage more people to start more young groups.
